History
Fila begins life in 1911 in the foothills of the Italian Alps. Textiles is in its DNA, originating from local expertise in the art of producing sophisticated yarns, with its daring deriving from the mountain landscape of and the fluid Mediterranean coastline.
In 1973 FILA redefines the concept of sports apparel, introducing rib cotton onto tennis courts for the first time ever.
Drawing its inspiration from a European sense of aesthetics and pure design instinct, FILA creates sophisticated, cutting edge products worth of their Italian origins, and featuring a finely-honed taste for the beautiful things in life.
