After a hundred and thirty years in the business, Gastón y Daniela is still at the forefront of the haute décor textiles market. It has maintained the spirit of constant renewal that has guided it and pushed it to the forefront since its beginnings at the first shop, which opened in 1876 at Calle Tendería, 30, Bilbao. Today it boasts over 40 shops and exports to more than 60 countries around the globe.

With a catalogue of over 30,000 items in its fabrics range, it also offers a broad and complete range of wallpapers, sofas and armchairs, along with items such as carpets, mats, rugs, etc. The company’s designs create a genuine style of its own that is exported to the main markets in interior design on the five continents. The spirit of innovation, of being different and getting ahead of fashions that has characterised it generation after generation has allowed the label to grow and strengthen its position without diluting the sensitivity it has had since it first began.

One of Gaston y Daniela's major concerns is to uphold its rigorous demands in terms of design, quality, and the staging of its creations, and to continue innovating in all aspects of its business, for instance, by setting up a web site that acts as a shop window for the whole wide world, and where its ideas and its advances in textile decoration are there for all to see.
