The Mexican tourism Board or CPTM is a joint organization between the public and private sectors, that combines resources to bring to the industry and public, the most in-depth and trusted information on Mexico. As a part of the Mexican Ministry of Tourism, we are the tourism specialists `par excellence` on Mexico, both in the country´s promotion and in the establishment of promotion policies and trade opportunities.
Our mission is to take the lead in the development of tourism in Mexico through the planning of activities, encouraging development of supply, supporting tourism companies, advertising, and organizing a series of actions at various government levels. To achieve this, the various organizations involved have to work together under the guidance of the tourist sector of the public administration.
The collaboration of the CPTM around the world with the touristy industry, is by offering a comprehensive service to the Press and the Travel Trade, making co operational promotion events such as trade shows, seminars, and joint publicity, sending out brochures about Mexico on request, supplying details on getting to Mexico and on accommodation in our lands and much more.
