1986. Creation of the company ROTELPA, S.A. and birth of OKY^COKY.

OKY^COKY is set up in Vigo, in the region of Galicia, which currently represents one of the international fashion references of the country since Galician textile manufacturers have reached an international recognition in the world of fashion due to the quality and design of their products.

Step by step, season after season our client portfolio has increased owing to the public favourable reception of the OKY^COKY style. We have therefore raised our turnover and number of employees, we have expanded our structure and opened-up to new areas in Spain.

1989. Presentation of the firs Autumn-Winter 1989 collection in Madrid being coincident to Cibeles catwalk. OKY^COKY starts its distribution in the whole country.

From that date on, successive sample collections have been presented to buyers during Madrid (SIMM) and Barcelona (Gaudi), entering the usual marketing cycle, which forces the structuring of a nationwide business network to attend the strong demand.

1992. Transfer of our facilities to a new factory equipped with a structure that enabled the expansion of the brand and its steady positioning within the national market, adding up to more than 350 clients that are still faithful to OKY^COKY today.

1994. Start of the distribution of OKY^COKY in Portugal.

1999. Beginning of a new phase: the commencement of the business in neighbour countries, basically France and Belgium. But this expansion is not just confined to EU countries, as OKY^COKY is also present in department stores or boutique chains in further countries such as Japan, among others.

2000. Extension of the surface in our factory in order to respond to the constant increase of the market. A new space that doubled the area, being ready to receive the growth of design and management teams, prepared and equipped to optimize the quality of our products and services.

2006. Introduction of OKY^COKY in the British and Irish markets, having great acceptance within the boutiques.

We are currently building our new facilities in the Business Park Texvigo to triple the present area of our company in order to reorganize the structure for the expansion into international markets. This relocation is due to be completed by the beginning of 2007.
