In this new edition of Bread and Butter, Vans will be presenting the highlights of its new collection. As always, Vans will be in the Sport & Street Pavellion.

It’s now been more than 40 years since Paul Van Doren introduced his simple canvas sneakers to Southern Californians in 1966. Little did he know at the time, but it would only be a few short years before surfers and skaters adopted the sturdy shoes as their own. With a sticky waffle grip perfect for skateboarding, skaters literally exported Vans around the world via their boards.

Utilizing more unique materializations than ever before, Vans’ footwear collection includes favorites such as the Classic Slip-On, Chukka Boot and Authentic available in daring new textiles and fabrics to go along with supple suede and treated leathers. While most of the favorites come in feminine color combinations, the Vans design team has come up with a lower profile look in the new Slip-On Lo Pro, Authentic Lo Pro, Old Skool Low Pro and Authentic Lo Down.

This fall we’ll also release two new band collaborations, our third in a series with Iron Maiden and a special project with the groundbreaking Los Angeles punk band, The Germs.
