Seeburger at CeBIT 2007

As the IT world throngs to CeBIT in Hannover again, SEEBURGER once more has a wide range of innovative products and solutions on show.

The Business Integration IT specialist will be at CeBIT 2007 in two locations – E56 in Hall 4 and the joint AIM stand at G47 in Hall 6.
“Our success is the result of our company’s strict alignment to market requirements. So CeBIT is a very good platform for us to place new, interesting topics,” said Bernd Seeburger, CEO and founder of SEEBURGER AG. He added: “This year’s CeBIT gives us the opportunity to present the full bandwidth of our portfolio in two contexts. At our own stand we are showing the use of RFID as the key to integrated PLM, the expansion of our Paper-to-ERP product family by adding workflow-controlled processing of debit notes, SCEM for profitable assessment of logistics events, and cost-cutting solutions in the field of trading communities that arise as the result of efficient outsourcing. Our presence at the joint AIM stand will give potential customers a focused view of innovative auto ID applications that are fully integrated into the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) world.”

For example, in conjunction with Pickert & Partner at the joint stand, SEEBURGER will demonstrate how RFID can enrich Product Lifecycle Management information, resulting in the combination of data from real and virtual product life cycle phases. In a live demonstration of this RFID potential, SEEBURGER AG and Pickert & Partner will show in detail the RFID-supported identification of a subassembly, selection of the matching test programme, generation of the correct test order and test data recording. For this quality process, the SEEBURGER RFID Gateway will access Pickert & Partner GmbH’s computer-aided quality management (CAQ) solution RQM and transfer the RFID identifier on call. This is a true highlight for those who are curious about RFID.
SEEBURGER will also spark the curiosity of cost-conscious suppliers keen to know how to handle debit notes efficiently. SEEBURGER integrates sales and logistics into debit note processing using 4avis, a solution for automatic and workflow-controlled processing of debit notes. With this, SEEBURGER is setting a further milestone in business process rationalisation.
Where is SCM heading? To find out, SEEBURGER is showing by way of example the scenario of a freight carrier with tankers that supply filling stations for a variety of oil companies. If deliveries do not go according to plan (time delays, route infringements, or similar) the SCEM (Supply Chain Event Management) system reports the problem in real time to enable prompt countervailing action to be taken. The system can also be used to generate new transport orders for the carrier automatically so as to eliminate any gaps in replenishing fuel supplies.
SEEBURGER will also be showing its B-to-B Roll Out & Self Service Portal at CeBIT. This central cockpit for automatic connection of business partners and provision of self-service functionalities helps companies to realise enormous rationalisation potentials through automation and automatic connection.

Significant synergies can also be utilised if many business partners share a platform. That is the basic idea behind the SEEBURGER Trading Community, a robust rationalisation technology for implementing a company’s B2B strategy regardless of location and size. The SEEBURGER Trading Community reduces handling costs noticeably by joint provision of the necessary infrastructure, consulting, running and rollout. By doing so, it opens up to all participants synergies based on the volume and degree of standardisation of b2b processes. This benefits large companies just as much as SMEs.
