CeBIT 2008: innovaphone shows 'Voice over IP made in Germany'

CeBIT 2008, in Hanover, will open its doors for 6 days on March 4 2008. More than 5,500 exhibitors from 75 countries will present their companies this year at the international leading ITC trade fair. The winners of the most important trade fair world-wide have already been decided: They are the providers of VoIP solutions such as innovaphone. The reason: For the majority of users there is no longer a way to surpass Voice over IP:

The new technology must be implemented when old PBX leasing contracts draw to an end and there are no technological alternatives to VoIP which can be taken seriously. On estimate approximately every second German company is already using VoIP solutions. innovaphone is presenting "Voice over IP made in Germany" at its stand C39 in hall 13 - operational at your fingertips. Three new products from the Sindelfingen based IP telephony specialists can be viewed - IP240, IP55 and IP2000.

The IP240 complements the range of innovaphone IP telephones. The IP240 has the same innovative technology and the same features as the IP200, the design of the new IP phone is almost identical to that of the IP230. The IP240 has a 7 line display and an alpha-numeric keyboard. Further product variations will follow in the coming months. A one gigabit Ethernet version is planned.

The DECT handset IP55 is also new at the starting line. The cordless IP phone for modern office environments captivates with its elegant design and high user comfort. The large TFT colour display ensures navigation and handset handling are extremely easy and comfortable. As with the entire innovaphone handset family, the IP55 also supports all modern DECT handset features. Twelve hours talk time and 120 hours stand-by ensure maximum reachability and relaxed telephone calls - even in constant use.

The IP2000 rounds off innovaphone's ISDN gateway portfolio with a PRI interface. This closes the gap between the IP800 and IP6000 gateways. In many European countries reduced PRI connections are less expensive than an equivalent number of ISDN connections. The PRI interface on the IP2000 can be licensed for the number of available channels. The licensing package can be extended flexibly. The IP2000 hardware keeps the costs for the gateway comparably low. As with all innovaphone gateways, also the IP2000 has been optimised for maximum security and stability and contains neither rotating elements nor standard operating systems nor operating system components.
