Cemat 2008`

30/09/2007

Cemat 2008: in Hannover, Germany it promises to be a success in May 2008.

With over 80 % of the exhibition area firm booked, CeMat 2008 shows an incredible growth since its debut in 2005.

Following CeMAT’s outstanding debut as an independent event in 2005 and with nine months to go until the next show, another CeMAT triumph is on the cards. All the signs point to CeMAT recording excellent growth rates in May 2008. Bookings have already been confirmed for over 80 percent of the planned net display space of 75,000 m². In many display categories, including forklift trucks, visitors will find virtually the entire global market represented. “CeMAT is the world’s leading fair for intralogistics and Clark, one of the largest forklift truck manufacturers worldwide, has been an integral part of this segment for nine decades – that makes for an ideal combination. It therefore goes without saying that we will be very much a part of CeMAT,” states Egon Strehl, Managing Director of Clark Europe GmbH.

CeMAT is growing at an above-average rate in other areas too. It is already highly likely that shelving and storage systems will be better represented than in 2005, as will cranes and accessories for all areas of materials handling technology.

CeMAT’s popularity is evident just from the number of new exhibitors who have decided to take part – over 120, accounting for a total area of 7,000 m².

“We are delighted at the market’s response,” states Wolfgang Pech, Senior Vice President at Deutsche Messe in Hannover. “Many exhibitors will only be showcasing their product innovations and complete logistics systems at CeMAT next year,” he adds.
