Cityscape Abu Dhabi opens today at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre

More than 200 exhibitors from 50 countries to take part in eagerly awaited property development and investment show

The inaugural Cityscape Abu Dhabi opens today (Tuesday, May 8 2007) in the UAE capital city. The event will run from May 8 - 10 at the state-of-the-art Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).

The three day exhibition celebrates the very best in Abu Dhabi’s booming real estate, architecture, urban planning and design sectors. More than 200 exhibitors from 50 countries will be present and thousands of visitors are expected from all over the world. In addition, two parallel conferences will run alongside the exhibition, one will focus on Waterfront Developments and the other on Real Estate Finance and Investment.

Held under the patronage H.H. General Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and organised by IIR (Middle East), Cityscape Abu Dhabi is supported by a number of leading organisations including TDIC, ALDAR, Sorouh, Tamouh Investments, Aqaba Development Corporation and ESCAN.

City Scape Abu Dhabi is the 10th major exhibition to take place at ADNEC which was opened in February 2007 by H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi. The multi-purpose venue is the most modern exhibition facility in the world and boasts 28,000 square metres of exhibition floor space over seven interconnected halls, two luxurious conference rooms, 16 meeting rooms and a 2,000sqm food court.

When fully complete in 2008, ADNEC will consist of 55,000sqm of exhibition floor space making it one of the largest exhibition venues in the Middle East.
