The 62nd edition of FIMI was celebrated between 13th-15th January 2006
The 62nd edition of FIMI was celebrated between 13th-15th January 2006 in the new pavillions 1 and 2 of the Level 2 of Feria Valencia, which are bigger than the former ones and newer as well.
This new setting allowed the participation of more proffesionals that each year demand more and more space. FIMI grows and this change is a priority.
Also, this new edition showcased all the newest in Children´s Fashion and Accessories for the Autumn/Winter Season 2006-2007. These proposals were reflected in the Pasarela FIMI, one of the biggest attractions of the Fair.
Around 300 national and international exhibitors received approximately 8000 visitors that each year attend this meeting that can´t be missed.
FIMI became, once again, a reference and meeting point for the recently created Children´s Fashion Europe Association, which has a permanent seat in Valencia and is constituted as a supranational European and sectorial association to unite Children´s Fashion designers and manufacturers of the European Union. One of its main objectives is the clear market orientation for its associates as well as to help them improve their competitiveness. There are many interesting associative activities being created around Children´s Fashion, all of them with the aim of improving the sector, regarding both supply and distribution.
FIMI was celebrated together with the International Baby and Child Care Fair, in the new pavillions number 3 and 4 of the Level 2 of Feria Valencia
