Surface Technology 2007 Forum
Coating technology in focus
From 16 to 20 April 2007, the "Surface Technology 2007" forum will be focusing on cutting-edge technologies for users of organic liquid and powder coating systems as part of the leading international trade fair, SurfaceTechnology plus Powder Coating Europe at Hannover Messe 2007 (the Hannover Fair).
The "Surface Technology 2007" forum, which is being held in Hall 6, offers presentations from experts, renowned institutes, and successful coating companies as well as interesting panel discussions. It is aimed at coating users from various branches of industry and coating manufacturers, plant engineers, institutes and service providers. This makes the forum the ideal platform for exhibitors and visitors who wish to find out about current technological developments and trends and share know-how and experience with specialists. Substrate Park enables theory and practical applications to be neatly dovetailed by hosting products that showcase the solutions covered in the presentations. Visitors can therefore learn about the very latest coating processes and application technology from coated products themselves and get an idea of the look and feel of the exhibits that are presented. 2007 will once again see particularly innovative and practical process concepts in coating technology rewarded with the "Best Practice Award".
On each day of the fair, between around 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., exhibitors and visitors to SurfaceTechnology plus Powder Coating Europe can expect to learn about the technological themes that are shaping the cutting-edge industrial coating businesses of the future. A new theme will be covered each day.
The following Theme Days are planned:
Theme Day 1: Surface treatment contracting
Theme Day 2: Using innovative coating systems
Theme Day 3: The coating experts of the future
Theme Day 4: Substrates
Theme Day 5: The automation of coating processes
Given that "progress lives from the exchange of knowledge", a round table will be held at the end of each theme day. The "Surface Technology 2007" forum therefore provides a platform for sharing ideas and know-how relating to current trends and themes in coating technology and coating application.
The "Surface Technology 2007" forum is being organized by Deutsche Messe AG and the Vincentz Network in cooperation with Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau e.V. (VDMA - the German Engineering Federation).
