For the upcoming edition of the fair the IBERFLORA organizing committee is focusing on extending the contents of the fair, paying special attention to products being commercialized in the same points of sale as plants and flowers, such as accessories and complements for pets, décor articles for gardens,...etc. Through this initiative, the organizing committee is responding to changes in consumer habits and market trends.
New layout of exhibition
The IBERFLORA organizing committee also approved the new layout of the exhibition space for the upcoming edition, which is being held concurrently with EUROBRICO. In October 2006, IBERFLORA will cover Levels 2 & 3 in exhibition halls 1, 2, 3 & 4 at Feria Valencia. Meanwhile, EUROBRICO and IBERFLORA?s Garden, Urban Planning & Landscaping Show are located on Level 2 of the four halls. The Plant & Flower Show and the Horticultural Technology Show are located on Level 3.
Tie-in Activities
IBERFLORA is celebrating its 35th anniversary. Apart from its usual Awards for Final Year Projects and the National Hand Bouquet Competition, the third edition of the IBERFLORA Gardening and Landscaping Master is also being presented. The one hundred plus students of the first year and the 115 currently inscribed in the second edition of the IBERFLORA Master, are good proof of the acceptance of this academic qualification.
A new introduction this year is the first IBERFLORA Master in Design, Construction, Maintenance & Management of Golf Courses, in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Valencia and the Association of Plants & Flowers of the Comunidad Valenciana.
