Everything ready for another success
Expectations are high for the Spring/Summer 2007 collections. New records predicted.
After the success of the spring edition, from September 21 to 24, 2006, the MICAM SHOEVENT, the largest and most prestigious international event dedicated to medium-high and high level footwear, returns to the Milan Rho exhibition centre. The next engagement with the Milan event, which will present the collections for Spring/Summer 2007, confirms the growth trend which had characterised the previous editions: the number of exhibitors has risen to 1651, with an increase of 6% compared to September 2005; the total area occupied has been extended to 72,881 square metres (+5.3%); but above all the presence of foreign companies has grown from 439 to 519, with a significant increase of 18%. From a point of view of public, the organisers are expecting over 40,000 operators of the sector, which would highlight the strong appeal that the event has on the international public. Just a few weeks from the start, the event confirms itself to be a must for all the operators of the sector where the connection between the collections is quality, in terms of the design and research content and care for the detail which defines the style. On the eve of the second edition 2006, ANCI has already established the dates of the two appointments of MICAM SHOEVENT for the year 2007, which will be from Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 March for the spring edition and from Thursday 20 to Sunday 23 September for the autumn edition.
