New firms from Europe and Asia will come

The MSV and ITM Shows are not only a top presentation of Czech industrial production, but are also of a marked international character. The proportion of foreign exhibitors will again exceed 36 % and a number of interesting premieres, both from Europe and oversees, have been expected.

“The interest of Czech and foreign firms in attending both fairs is enormous, which proves a favourable situation of a lot of industrial branches and a persisting interest in the Czech market. Also this time the inflow of foreign exhibitors continues, altogether 750 firms will come from abroad. Tens of them will display in Brno for the first time,” stressed Director of MSV Commercial Group, BVV Trade Fairs Brno, Jiří Rousek.
The highest foreign participation will be as usual from Germany, from where also 45 new exhibitors will come, in particular to the IMT Exhibition. This year German firms will take up at least 4 000 m2 of the exhibition space, although lots of German manufacturers attend the show through their Czech representatives or distributors.
Also Slovakia will have an enormous representation; ten new participants – also from Austria - will be newcomers. Compared with the past runs – more exhibitors will appear from Italy, in particular at IMT and in the branches Plastics, materials and components for engineering. Spanish firms will have large group (joint) stands. A number of new exhibitors have also been registered from Poland, France, Great Britain, Belgium and other EU countries.
This year firms from some countries outside EU and also from distant territories such as China, India, Japan, Taiwan, Canada etc. show great interest in attending MSV and IMT. The motivation of their participation is clear: by means of the Brno fair they look for new opportunities on the perspective Czech and East-European markets, where significant world manufacturers of key branches such as automotive industry or electrical-technical engineering have been transferring their production.
Also foreign businessmen’s missions have been expected in Brno in addition to exhibitors. They will come for instance from the Netherlands, South Korea, the Republic of South Africa, Ukraine, Belarus and Russian regions such as Tatarsthan, Yekaterinburg or Tchelyabinsk.
