Sicur 2008: The VM 30 aids the protection of workers exposed to risks from vibrations

Sicur 08: Never before has measuring vibrations been so easy! The VM30 vibration meter is a versatile tool that allows both vibrations in machines and vibrations transmitted to the human body to be measured simply. This enables the protection of workers exposed to the risks derived from exposure to hand-arm and entire body vibrations.

The VM30 meter incorporates three independent measuring channels in real time from which the values corresponding to the X, Y and Z components are obtained simultaneously, as well as the RMS efficiency value. In addition to this, the VM30 has an intuitive user interface that incorporates the weighing filters corresponding to the most recent European regulations, which allows the exposure to the vibration to be assessed in a completely direct way. The vibrations meter, VM30 model complies with the provisions set forth in the Royal Decree 1311 on the Protection of Health and Safety of Workers when facing Risks Derived from Exposure to Mechanical Vibrations.
