International Franchise Show

The International Franchise Salon, Business Opportunities and Associated Trades (SIF&Co.) is today presenting its offers and services in Mexico City to franchising and investment companies on the occasion of the International Franchises Trade Fair being held from 8th to 10th March in Mexico, where it will also have a stand.

The presentation will take place at 12 a.m. (local time) in the Conventions and Exhibition Centre of the World Trade Centre in Mexico and will be attended by Inmaculada Santainés, Director of SIF&Co, with the support of Roberto Ramos, President of the Mexican Association of Franchises (AMF), and Eduardo Abadía, Manager of the Spanish Association of Franchisees (AEF). The aim is to offer initiatives that will allow all Mexican franchises to enter Europe through SIF & Co., given the excellent contact that it maintains with Latin America.
According to Inmaculada Santainés in Mexico City “We are approaching Latin America with the aim of working as the international trade fair that we, by operating as an entry and exit point for companies and investors of different markets, so as to provide an impetus to the system and promote business exchanges. Therefore, this meeting is concentrating on attracting investors and exhibitors from the Mexican market”.
The Salon develops and, moreover, focuses its efforts on internationalising those Spanish companies that wish to expand outside their national territory through initiatives such as: the SIF&Co. organisation of Businessinvest Chile in 2005, the presence of trade missions, such as that from Prague, and rendering its service as an International Trade Fair.
SIF&Co. was designated in October 2005 as the seat of the Latin-American Federation of Franchise Associations (FIAF) as a result of the excellent relations existing between them. This choice has facilitated intense collaborations between both institutions, which have been working on bringing the European and Latin American markets closer together.
